At Polytechnic College of Davao del Sur, Inc. the six core values that best define our school community are Service, Patriotism, Integrity, Respect, Innovation, and Transcendence (SPIRIT).
- Service. The school promotes a culture of generous service where work and studies are geared towards helping others and the community.
The teachers impart knowledge and give themselves unselfishly. The students are developed and trained to become productive individuals with utmost professionalism and willingness to cooperate and work for the common good. Employees and administrators serve with the knowledge that service to others is their reason for being, and the school, as a whole give back to the society.

Patriotism. The school believes that all members of its community should have a great love for our country and have a strong sense of national pride as Filipinos.
In all school activities, Filipino culture is promoted and positive Filipino values are emphasized to inculcate a sense of nationalism. as such the students, teachers and employees become proud of their rich cultural heritage and have a fulfilling sense of identity as Filipinos amidst the challenges in the global setting.

Integrity.
The school advocates for all individuals to become morally upright persons and possessing exemplary values and conviction to serve as models for everyone. All members of the school community must adhere to the established code of conduct which serve as a guide for the people in all their dealings with the school and outside it . We must show honesty, good character, moral strength and cinsistency in personal, professional, academic, social and sport matter.

Respect. The school respect which must be present in all members of the school community. At all times, utmost tolerance and respect for cultural, environmental, religious and social diversity, is practiced. Teachers, students, employees and administrators must show respect to each other and their lawful rights, to the school, the community as well as the environment. Bullying, littering, ostracism, discrimination and all form of disrespectful behaviour are discouraged and disciplined accordingly.
