The Office of the Registrar provides comprehensive academic support to students, faculty, staff, and alumni through the oversight of a wide range of essential services. This includes the meticulous management of academic policies and procedures, the precise maintenance of student records, facilitation of student registration processes, issuance of transcripts, verification of enrollments, meticulous coordination of course scheduling, meticulous organization of commencement services, rigorous execution of degree audits, implementation of robust assessment and reporting mechanisms, and unwavering dedication to ensuring institutional compliance. The Registrar offers indispensable support and expertise for school operations, addressing both internal and external requirements. With a focus on records management, the Registrar meticulously reviews, organizes, and disseminates academic records. Additionally, they play a pivotal role in approving end-of-semester grades and verifying students' fulfillment of the School's graduation and grade completion criteria.

Objectives
  1. Assist students with registration exceptions and reduce the number of students who encounter registration errors or require exceptions.
  2. Issue student transcripts successfully and efficiently.
  3. Securely and accurately assist faculty with grade changes.
  4. Provide accurate enrollment data to the Tennessee Board of Regents by required deadlines.
  5. Manage course registration, add/drop periods, and waitlist processes.
  6. Maintain and safeguard academic records, including grades, course histories, and degrees earned.
  7. Process student requests for enrollment verifications, degree certifications, and academic standing letters.
  8. Support graduation application processing, degree audits, and diploma issuance.
  9. Coordinate class scheduling and the publication of the academic calendar and course catalog.
  10. Assist with student appeals related to academic records, residency classification, and enrollment status.
  11. Ensure compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations related to academic records and student privacy (FERPA).
  12. Collaborate with academic departments to support curriculum updates and course changes in the student information system.
Services Offered
  1. Coordinate the design, implementation, and periodic review of academic curricula to ensure they meet current academic and industry standards.
  2. Organize and provide workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance faculty skills and professional growth.
  3. Oversee academic advising programs and provide resources such as tutoring and mentoring to support student success.
  4. Lead the accreditation process, prepare necessary documentation, and ensure ongoing compliance with accreditation requirements.
  5. Develop and implement strategic plans for academic initiatives that align with the institution’s mission and goals.
  6. Facilitate research opportunities, provide grants and funding support, and promote collaborative research projects.
  7. Support the adoption of innovative educational technologies and provide training for faculty and staff on new tools and platforms.
