Guided by the Polytechnic College of Davao del Sur, Inc.'s Vision- Mission of developing the full potential of the individual so that he can compete globally, and be culturally sensitive and responsive. The Office of the Student Affairs complements the instruction, research, extension and production functions of the College. It provides avenues for the integrated development of the students through varied, wholesome and challenging programs.

The following are its thrust:

  • To initiate, implement, and coordinate specific programs and services for the students' personal and social growth.
  • To provide opportunities for students' active involvement in various activities of the College.
  • To promote the mode of conduct necessary in achieving a wholesome environment conducive to learning and harmonious co-existence in the academic community.
  • Provide accurate enrollment data to Tennessee Board of Regents by required deadline.
  • Objectives
    1. Promote the holistic development of students academically, socially, emotionally, and morally.
    2. Provide support services that enhance student well-being and academic success.
    3. Develop leadership skills and encourage student involvement in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
    4. Ensure a safe, inclusive, and disciplined campus environment for all students.
    5. Instill values of responsibility, integrity, and civic engagement among students.
    Services Offered
    1. Provide counseling and guidance services to support students’ mental, emotional, and academic well-being.
    2. Coordinate student discipline and ensure adherence to school policies and the student handbook.
    3. Facilitate student organizations, leadership programs, and co-curricular activities to foster personal and social development.
    4. Oversee student welfare programs such as health services, peer support, and campus safety initiatives.
    5. Manage student housing and accommodation services, if applicable.
    6. Coordinate student orientation and integration programs for new enrollees.
    7. Organize seminars, trainings, and advocacy campaigns on topics such as mental health, anti-bullying, gender sensitivity, and civic engagement.
    8. Handle student grievances and conflict resolution in a fair and confidential manner.
    9. Issue student certifications, clearances, and official communications related to student conduct and activities.
