Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) NC II is a competency-based training program designed to equip students with the essential knowledge and practical skills needed to perform welds on various metal components using the SMAW process. The course covers safety practices, proper handling of welding tools and equipment, material preparation, and the execution of quality welds in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions.

Graduates are prepared for employment in construction, shipbuilding, manufacturing, and other metalwork industries, both locally and abroad.
